Actor -- via the Telegraph. Best known in America for his roles in movies such as Merlin in "Excalibur," Sherlock Holmes in "The Seven Per-Cent Solution," and Little John in "Robin and Marian." Williamson was much more of an extraordinary stage actor, doing remarkable turns in "Hamlet," "Macbeth," "Inadmissible Evidence," and "I Hate Hamlet."
